Lived in the area for a long time and only came across The Windmill Inn a week ago. Really nice place, so much better than the chain pubs now all over the place. Warm environment, friendly staff and very nice food. Had a three-course meal and couldn’t fault it. Everything seemed home-made and was very tasty. Only cheeky mention would be a request to add two scoops of ice cream instead of one to the double chocolate cookie desert as gets a bit dry when the single scoop runs out. Great place, thoroughly recommend eating here.

We love this place but we haven't had a meal here yet. Lovely atmosphere and very clean. Garden in the summer is worth a family visit

A lovely place. We had lunch and the food was gorgeous. Staff very attentive. Just a great place. Cosy, Homely, and warm. Would definitely recommend.

Great food and service. Comfortable pub plenty of space. Chose the lunch special menu which is smaller portions. I had arnanchini for £6 and haddock and chips £10. Great value . Fast efficient friendly service. Dogs welcome in bar and outside. We'll be back with Coco the hound!! Other options two steaks and a bottle of wine for £50, quiz night too.
